If so, we can offer you in the Group Initial Drug Substance Supply within our Department of Chemical Development the opportunity to use and further develop your professional skills in a demanding field of work. Your varied responsibilities Planning and implementation of crystallization screenings via parallel experimentation Characterization and optimization of crystallization procedures through the use of on-line (Lasentec FBRM, ATR-FTIR and turbidity probes) and off-line (optical microscopy and liquid chromatography) techniques Upscaling of crystallization procedures using automated laboratory reactors Quantitative online monitoring of solute concentration during crystallizations and chemical processes with ATR-FTIR probes Planning and executions of reactions screenings and parallel optimization experiments using automated workstations Your ideal qualification You should have a PhD in chemistry/chemical engineering with background in crystallization and precipitation processes as well as good knowledge of Organic Chemistry. Previous experience with industrial crystallization is a big plus, experience with the iControl Mettler Toledo platform is also highly welcome. Knowledge of experimental design and chemometric data treatment is desirable. Personally you are open to new challenges, highly motivated and you possess excellent communication and documentation skills, ability to work both independently, and in team environments.
